The Gustavus Adolphus College women’s track field team have qualified two individuals and one relay team for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The championships will be hosted by Millikan University May 27-29 in Decatur, Illinois.

The Gustavus Adolphus College women’s track and field team scored 105 points and placed third in the MIAC Championships Meet. Senior Kristin Petersen won the discus and senior Jackie Luehmann won the shot put. Eleven Gusties earned all-conference honors

The Gustavus Adolphus women’s track & field team will travel to Northfield, Minn. to compete in the MIAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships. St. Olaf College is hosting the championships May 7-8.

The Gustavus women’s track and field team competed in the Macalester Bagpipe meet Friday, April 30. The Gusties came away with five first place finishes.

The Gustavus women’s track & field team traveled to Northfield, Minn. on Saturday to compete in the Manitou Classic hosted by St. Olaf College. Senior Jackie Luehmann won the shot put with a distance of 45′ 4.5″.

The Gustavus Adolphus women’s track & field team traveled to Waverly, Iowa to compete in the third annual Wartburg Open on Saturday, March 27. Gustavus won two individual races, one relay race and two field events. No team scores were kept at the meet.

Gutavus Adolphus senior Jackie Luehmann placed third in the shot put throwing a distance of 47′ 2.5″ in the 2004 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday. The championships were held at University of Wisconsin-Whitewater March 12-13.

The Gustavus women’s indoor track & field team earned seven all-conference honors at the MIAC Championships held March 4-6. To be named all-conference, individuals must place in the top three in their event or be a member of the winning relay team.

The Gustavus women’s track & field team placed second at the MIAC Indoor Championships hosted by Saint John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota.

The Gustavus women’s track and field team will compete in the 2004 MIAC Indoor Championships March 4-6. Saint John’s University is hosting the championships at the McNelly Spectrum in Collegeville, Minnesota.
