The Gustavus Adolphus women’s track & field team traveled to Waverly, Iowa to compete in the third annual Wartburg Open on Saturday, March 27. Gustavus won two individual races, one relay race and two field events. No team scores were kept at the meet.

Gutavus Adolphus senior Jackie Luehmann placed third in the shot put throwing a distance of 47′ 2.5″ in the 2004 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday. The championships were held at University of Wisconsin-Whitewater March 12-13.
