The Gustavus men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams competed at the University of Minnesota’s First Chance Meet on Friday and Saturday and came away with numerous top times against Division III competition.

The Gustie men defeated the Johnnies 185-114, while the women beat the Bennies 222-78.

The Gustavus women’s swim & dive team won the Point Invite on Saturday with a score of 1016, while the Gustie men finished second at 1014 points. 

Both the Gustavus men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams sit in second place after Friday’s first session of the Point Invite, hosted by UW-Stevens Point.

Gustavus divers Andrew Jensen (Jr., Wyoming) and Kaija Pratt (Jr., Minnetonka) have been named MIAC Divers of the Week for their performances against Carleton last Friday. 

The Gustavus men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams both defeated Carleton in a MIAC dual meet Friday evening at Vic Gustafson Pool. The Gustie men beat the Knights 176-115 and the Gustie women won 192-108. 

The Gustavus men’s and women’s swim & dive teams both won the Grinnell Pioneer Classic on Saturday.
