    Gustavus Adolphus College senior goalkeeper Tori Boughton (Edina, Minn.) has been named to the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer All-Conference team for the 2005 season. Junior midfielder Amy Larson (Bloomington, Minn.) and sophomore forward Jenna Iaizzo (White Bear Lake, Minn.) received honorable mention honors.

  • Women’s Soccer Slips Past Augsburg 1-0

    Sophomore Jenna Iaizzo (White Bear Lake, Minn.) scored in the 22nd minute to provide the only scoring as the Gustavus women’s soccer team topped Augsburg 1-0 Wednesday night in Minneapolis. The Gusties won their second straight match to improve to 6-10-1 overall, 3-6-1 in the MIAC.

  • Women’s Soccer Downs Pipers 4-0

    Sophomore Jenna Iaizzo and first-year student Christy Tupy each netted a pair of goals as the Gustavus women’s soccer team registered a 4-0 victory over Hamline on Saturday in St. Paul. The Gusties improve to 5-10-1 on the season, 2-6-1 in the MIAC. Hamline drops to 7-9 overall, 2-8 in the MIAC.

    The Gustavus women’s soccer team lost 1-0 to non-conference foe Grinnell College in overtime on Wednesday afternoon. The Pioneers scored the game-winner five minutes into the first overtime. Tori Boughton recorded 14 saves in goal for the Gusties.

    The Gustavus women’s soccer team received a goal from Christy Tupy in the final ten minutes of regulation and held on for a 1-1 tie in double overtime Saturday against the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul. The Gusties move to 4-9-1 with the draw.
