  • Women’s Soccer Upended by Grinnell 1-0 in Overtime

    The Gustavus women’s soccer team lost 1-0 to non-conference foe Grinnell College in overtime on Wednesday afternoon. The Pioneers scored the game-winner five minutes into the first overtime. Tori Boughton recorded 14 saves in goal for the Gusties.

  • Volleyball Downs Macalester 3-1

    The Gustavus volleyball team kept their chances for a berth in the MIAC Playoffs alive Wednesday night with a 3-1 victory over Macalester in St. Peter. The Gusties improved to 13-11 overall and 4-6 in the MIAC with the win, while the Scots dropped to 10-16, 3-6 in the MIAC.

  • Men’s Soccer Shuts Out Augsburg 3-0

    The Gustavus men’s soccer team scored two goals in the first 18 minutes of play against Augsburg and never looked back in a 3-0 win over Augsburg in St. Peter. Bobby Kroog scored twice to lead the Gusties.

    Junior Becca Thompson registered a game-high 18 kills, but it was not enough as the Gustavus volleyball team was swept by Concordia, 3-0, Friday night in Moorhead.   • Men’s Cross Country 19th at UW-La Crosse

    Junior Alex Zupan (Monona, Wis.) finished 77th overall to lead the Gustavus men’s cross country team to a 19th place finish at the Jim Drews Invitational hosted by UW-La Crosse. Zupan crossed the line in 26:01 in a 23-team field that spanned all divisions of the NCAA.

  • Women’s Cross Country 10th at UW-La Crosse

    The Gustavus women’s cross country team picked up a pair of top-15 individual performances en route to a 10th place finish Saturday at the Tori Neubauer Invitational hosted by UW-La Crosse. Senior Kourtney Joyce finished eighth in a time of 22:08.

  • Women’s Soccer Draws With St. Kate’s 1-1

    The Gustavus women’s soccer team received a goal from Christy Tupy in the final ten minutes of regulation and held on for a 1-1 tie in double overtime Saturday against the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul. The Gusties move to 4-9-1 with the draw.

  • Hom and Menne Win ITA National Doubles Title

    The Gustavus women’s doubles team of Lauren Hom (Jr., Stevens Point, Wis.) and Marla Menne (Sr., White Bear Lake, Minn.) picked up a pair of wins Friday afternoon en route to the Division III Women’s Doubles title at the ITA Small College Championships held at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida.
