Following a big first half lead for the Gustavus women's basketball team, Carleton battled back to bring the score to within three points with less than a minute to play. The Gusties were able to hold off the Knights and hang on for a 68-63 on Saturday afternoon on Gus Young Court. Gustavus improves to 5-5 in the MIAC and 6-7 overall, while Carleton falls to 2-7 in the MIAC and 3-9 overall.

The Gusties defeated St. Thomas 183-116 and Hamline 245-27. Dajana Vidovic was the top Gustavus swimmer with two individual first place finishes, as Gustavus recorded 10 event wins.

The Gustavus men’s swimming and diving team fell 168-137 to St. Thomas, yet defeated Hamline 240-38 in Saturday’s double-dual held in the Lund Natatorium in St. Peter, Minn. Whitaker Davis and Billy Schultze were the top Gusties swimmers at the meet, recording three individual event wins each. The Gusties registered 10 individual event wins on the day.
