The Cardinals fell to 3-7 overall and 3-4 in the MIAC.

The Gusties responded with ten unanswered points for a 10-3 lead at the 15:07 mark in the first half. Head coach Mickey Haller’s squad continued to pour it on throughout the first 20 minutes and took a 38-20 lead into the locker room at halftime.

In the first 5:20 of the second, the Gusties went on a 17-2 run to lead 55-22 for their largest lead of the night. The Cardinals replied with 12 unanswered points over the next 5:22, but Abby Rothenbuehler ended that run with a three-pointer at the 7:38 mark.
