Men’s Hockey Back At Home To Take On St. Scholastica And UW-Superior This Weekend Posted on January 6th, 2012 by

Rookie winger Andy Pearson enters the weekend in the midst of a three-game point-sreak. Pearson ranks third on the team in scoring with 12 points (3G, 9A) and a +2 rating.

The Gustavus men’s hockey team will open 2012 with a pair of home non-conference tests against St. Scholastica and UW-Superior this weekend at Don Roberts Ice Rink.  The Gusties will face the Saints on Friday night at 7:05 p.m. and the Yellow Jackets at 7:05 p.m. on Saturday.

The Gustavus men’s hockey team steps onto the ice for the first time since Dec. 14, entering the weekend with an overall record of 7-4-2.  St. Scholastica rolls into St. Peter at 7-3-2 overall, while UW-Superior carries a record of 7-4-2 into the weekend.
