The Gustavus Adolphus men’s golf team placed two individuals in the top three on the leaderboard and finds itself in second place headed into Sunday’s final round of the Augsburg Invitational at Minnesota Dunes Golf Course in Cottage Grove. The host Auggies lead the Gusties, 297-300, while a second Gustavus team sits sixth after posting a team score of 316

Gustavus’ Mark Stuckey (Jr., St. Peter, Minn.) is second individually with a 71. Jordan Hawkinson (Jr., Lindstrom, Minn.) is tied for third after posting a round of even-par 72. Senior Erik Tone (Willmar, Minn.) and freshmen Ricky Copeland (Mahtomedi, Minn.) and Derek Hilding (Willmar, Minn.) rounded out the primary Gustavus lineup. Copeland is tied for 17th after a 78, while Tone fired a 79 and Hilding shot an 83.

Eric Harris (Jr., Eden Prairie, Minn.) led the way for the second Gustavus team, tied for ninth with a 75. Freshmen Greg Palm (Orinda, Calif.) and A.J. Olson (White Bear Lake, Minn.) each posted 80s, while junior Kyle Rohlfs (Fergus Falls, Minn.) fired an 81 and junior Arie DeGrio shot an 83.

The tournament wraps up Sunday with 18 more holes at Minnesota Dunes.
