Junior Alex Zupan (Monona, Wis.) finished 77th overall to lead the Gustavus men’s cross country team to a 19th place finish at the Jim Drews Invitational hosted by UW-La Crosse. Zupan crossed the line in 26:01 in a 23-team field that spanned all divisions of the NCAA.

The Gustavus women’s doubles team of Lauren Hom (Jr., Stevens Point, Wis.) and Marla Menne (Sr., White Bear Lake, Minn.) picked up a pair of wins Friday afternoon en route to the Division III Women’s Doubles title at the ITA Small College Championships held at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida.

Jordan Stolp Named MIAC Offensive Player of the Week

Gustavus Adolphus College sophomore quarterback Jordan Stolp (Mankato, Minn.) threw five touchdown passes and ran for another to help the Gusties defeat Augsburg 42-27. Stolp’s efforts earned him Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference offensive player of the week honors.
