The Gustavus men’s soccer team defeated Augsburg College 2-0 on Friday night in Minneapolis, Minn. Ryan Beduhn and Caleb Bousu were the goal scorers for the Gusties. The win gave head coach Larry Zelenz his 200th victory at Gustavus.

The Gustavus volleyball team gained a five-game upset over nationally-ranked Carleton College Wednesday night in St. Peter (27-30, 30-18, 30-25, 27-30, 15-13). The Gusties had five players with ten or more kills and six players with ten or more digs.

Gustavus sophomore Breanne Staples (Windom, Minn.) tied for first place at the Saint Benedict Invitational at the Greystone Golf Club this past weekend. Staples won the event with a score of 85-79–164 and was named MIAC Women’s Golfer of the Week.

The Gustavus men’s golf team compiled a team score of 920 to place sixth at the Twin Cities Invitational on Monday afternoon at the Stillwater Country Club in Stillwater, Minn. St. Cloud State University recorded a team score of 904 to win the invite.
