Men’s Track & Field Earns Five First-Place Finishes at Macalester Posted on May 1st, 2004 by

The Gustavus men’s track and field team competed in the Macalester Bagpipe Meet on Friday, April 30. The Gusties came away with five first-place finishes. Adam Caulfield (Freshman, Woodbury, Minn.) won the 400-meter dash, Ryan Taylor (Junior, Mankato, Minn.) won the 800-meter run, Jack Henkemeyer (Sophomore, Plymouth, Minn.) won the 200-meter dash and Alex Kestly (Junior, Chisholm, Minn.) won the discus throw. The team of Adam Cordes (Senior, Byron, Minn.), Anthony Schulzetenberg (Freshman, Greenwald, Minn.), Matt Diercks (Senior, Red Wing, Minn.), Jack Henkemeyer finished first in the 4×100-meter relay.
