The Gustavus volleyball team had their winning streak snapped at ten, falling to St. Thomas in four games. The Gusties are now 12-4 overall and 2-1 in MIAC play.

The Gusties beat St. Olaf Wednesday night in four games (30-28, 30-28, 23-30, 30-24).

Gustavus Adolphus College junior outside hitter Tara Houlihan (Sioux Falls, S.D.) was named the MIAC Hitter of the Week after leading the Gusties to a 4-0 week and surpassing the 1,000-dig mark for her career.

The Gustavus volleyball team pushed its winning streak to eight matches with a perfect 3-0 mark at the Carleton Classic in Northfield. The Gusties beat UW-Oshkosh 3-2, Buena Vista 3-0 and Dubuque 3-0.

The Gustavus volleyball team will compete at the Carleton Classic this weekend. The Gusties will face UW-Oshkosh and Buena Vista on Friday and Dubuque on Saturday.

Gustavus Adolphus College senior setter Rachel Batalden (Lamberton, Minn.) was named MiAC volleyball player of the week. Batalden helped the Gusties to a 5-0 record during the week including a perfect 4-0 mark at the Gustavus Classic last weekend.

The Gustavus volleyball team defeated Bethel University in St. Peter on Wednesday night for the first time since 1995. The Gusties improved to 8-3 for the season, while Bethel fell to 3-8.

The Gustavus Adolphus College and Carleton College Volleyball teams posted perfect 4-0 records in the six-team Gustavus Classic that took place on Gustavus’ Gus Young Court on Friday and Saturday.

The Gustavus volleyball team claimed a 3-1 win over Bethany Lutheran College in St. Peter on Wednesday night. The Gusties were led by Tara Houlihan and Jenni Thelemann with 15 kills each.
