The Gustavus men's hockey team used a strong all-around contest as they defeated Saint Mary's 7-0. With the win the Gusties move to 5-4 overall and 2-1 in the MIAC while the Cardinals fall to 2-5-1 overall and 2-1 in the conference. 

Men’s Hockey Falls to No. 7 Augsburg

The Gustavus men's hockey team hosted No. 7 Augsburg Friday evening and fell to the Auggies by a score of 3-1. With the loss the Gusties fall to 3-4 overall and 0-1 in the MIAC while Augsburg moves to 6-1 overall and 3-0 in the conference. 

Men’s Hockey Opens Season with 5-2 Win Over Lawrence

The Gustavus men's hockey team opened its season with a 5-2 win over Lawrence University Friday. The win puts the Gusties at the 1-0 on the season while the Vikings fall to 0-2.

2019-20 Men’s Hockey Season Preview

With a large group of returners in 2019-20, the Gustavus men's hockey team will look to bounce back following a pedestrian 2018-19 campaign. The Gusties finished last season 7-17-1 overall and 4-11-1 in the MIAC, although eight of their 17 losses were by one goal. After three weeks of practice Gustavus kicks off its season with a pair of contests at Lawrence University on Friday and Saturday.

Goor, Sengvongxay Earn MIAC Men’s Hockey Recognition

The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its men’s hockey postseason awards Monday and two Gustavus student-athletes received recognition. Robbie Goor (So., Anoka, Minn.) earned All-Conference honorable mention and Toby Sengvongxay (Fy., Luverne, Minn.) was named to the All-Rookie Team.

The Gusties salvage a series split, moving to 7-13-1 overall and 4-7-1 in the MIAC, regaining the league’s fifth spot in the standings over the Cardinals with 13 points.

The Gustavus men’s hockey team suffered a 4-2 loss at No. 4-ranked Augsburg on Friday night. The Auggies jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first period and the Gusties were unable to dig out of the hole, dropping to 5-12-1 overall and 2-6-1 in the MIAC.

The Gustavus men’s hockey team was rewarded for putting pucks on net Saturday night in a convincing 6-2 victory over Hamline at Don Roberts Ice Rink. The win moves the Gusties to 3-4-1 overall and 1-2-1 in the MIAC.
