Men’s Golf Moves Up One Spot After Round Two Of MIAC Championships

The Gustavus men's golf team moved up to fourth place after day two of the MIAC Championships Sunday, hosted at Ridges at Sand Greek. The Gusties turned in a score of 308 (+19), and is 19 strokes behind the leader, the University of St. Thomas. Augsburg University and Saint John's University remain ahead of Gustavus in second and third. 

Men’s Golf In Fifth Place After First Round At MIAC Championships

The Gustavus men’s golf team sits in fifth place after day one Saturday at the MIAC Championships, hosted at Ridges at Sand Creek. The Gusties fired a 301 (+13), which is 18 strokes off the leader St. Thomas. Augsburg is in second at +4, while Saint John’s is in third at +8.

Men’s Golf Ready For MIAC Championships This Weekend

The Gustavus men’s golf team is set to compete in the MIAC Championships this weekend at Ridges at Sand Creek in Jordan, Minn. The 54-hole tournament is played Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Gustavus enters the weekend with the fourth-best stroke average in the league (304.4), which is nearly five strokes behind the leader St. Thomas (299.5).

Track & Field Men Sit In Second At MIAC Championships, Women 12th After Day One

The Gustavus men’s and women’s track & field teams competed in day one of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships Friday, hosted by Hamline University. After the first day, the Gustie men sit in second place with 35 points, while the women are in 12th with 8.14 points. St. Thomas is in first place for both men and women.
