    Gustavus sophomore Joey MacGibbon has been named MIAC Men’s Tennis Athlete-of-the-Week for his contributions to Gustavus’ MIAC Playoff title this past weekend. The Gusties defeated St. Thomas in the semifinals 5-1 and Carleton in the championship match 5-0, and MacGibbon claimed two victories at No. 3 doubles and one at No. 5 singles.

    Due to inclement weather, the Gustavus baseball team’s doubleheader against Martin Luther College set for Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. has been cancelled and will not be made up.  Gustavus finishes its season 16-19 overall and 7-13 in the MIAC.

  • Men’s Golf Earns At-Large Bid Into NCAA Championships

    The NCAA Division III Men’s Golf Committee announced 41 teams and five individuals that will participate in the 2012 Division III Men’s Golf Championships. Among those 41 schools will be the Gustavus Adolphus men’s golf team who qualifies for the NCAA Championships for the second consecutive season.
