Women’s Soccer Tops Bethel 3-1

The Gustavus women's soccer team fell behind by a goal in the first five minutes, but rebounded to notch a 3-1 victory over Bethel University on Friday afternoon in St. Peter. The Gusties moved to 7-10-1 overall, 4-6-1 in the MIAC with the win in the season finale. Bethel rounds out their season at 6-10-2, 1-8-2 in the conference.

Sophomore Jenna Iaizzo (White Bear Lake, Minn.) scored in the 22nd minute to provide the only scoring as the Gustavus women's soccer team topped Augsburg 1-0 Wednesday night in Minneapolis. The Gusties won their second straight match to improve to 6-10-1 overall, 3-6-1 in the MIAC.

Women’s Soccer Downs Pipers 4-0

Sophomore Jenna Iaizzo and first-year student Christy Tupy each netted a pair of goals as the Gustavus women's soccer team registered a 4-0 victory over Hamline on Saturday in St. Paul. The Gusties improve to 5-10-1 on the season, 2-6-1 in the MIAC. Hamline drops to 7-9 overall, 2-8 in the MIAC.

Women’s Soccer Upended by Grinnell 1-0 in Overtime

The Gustavus women's soccer team lost 1-0 to non-conference foe Grinnell College in overtime on Wednesday afternoon. The Pioneers scored the game-winner five minutes into the first overtime. Tori Boughton recorded 14 saves in goal for the Gusties.

The Gustavus women's soccer team received a goal from Christy Tupy in the final ten minutes of regulation and held on for a 1-1 tie in double overtime Saturday against the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul. The Gusties move to 4-9-1 with the draw.

The Gustavus women's soccer team lost to St. Thomas 2-0 in St. Peter on Tuesday afternoon. The Gusties were led by senior goalkeeper Tori Boughton who recorded ten saves.

Women’s Soccer Outlasts Luther 2-0

The Gustavus women's soccer team saw their five game losing streak fall by the wayside Sunday with a 2-0 non-conference win over Luther. Samantha Engh got the Gusties on the board in the eighth minute, scoring on a header off a Liz Petersen corner kick. Amy Larson would add an insurance goal in the 82nd minute, scoring off a breakaway for her fourth goal of the year. Gustavus improves to 4-7 on the season and will return to MIAC play on Friday night when they play Macalester under the lights in St. Paul.

The Gustavus women's soccer team saw their record dip to 3-7 overall, 1-4 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference on Saturday as St. Olaf handed the Gusties a 2-0 defeat in Northfield. St. Olaf improved to 4-6-1 overall and 2-3 in the MIAC with the victory. The team's scoreless streak has reached 502 minutes, 30 seconds.

Women’s Soccer Falls to Saint Mary’s 2-0

The Gustavus women's soccer team continued to struggle losing to Saint Mary's 2-0 in St. Peter on Wednesday afternoon. The loss was the fourth shutout loss for the Gusties in the past two weeks. The score was tied 0-0 at halftime, however Saint Mary's scored what would turn out to be the gamewinner just one minute into the second half. Gustavus is now 3-6-0 overall and 1-3-0 in the MIAC.
