    The Gustavus men’s tennis team is set to host the sixth annual Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) National Division III Indoor Championship at the Swanson Tennis Center this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Eight of the top 15 teams in Division III tennis will play off to determine the 2006 ITA National Indoor Champion.

    The Gustavus Adolphus College men’s tennis team defeated Division I opponent Duquesne University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 9-0 on Friday night at the Swanson Tennis Center in St. Peter, Minn. Duquesne is coached by former Gustavus tennis player Rob Castille.

    The Gustavus men’s tennis team opened its home slate with a pair of victories Saturday at the Swanson Tennis Center. The Gusties opened the day with an 8-1 win over Minnesota State Mankato and wrapped it up with 9-0 win over Bethel in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference tilt.
