The Gustavus men’s golf team placed sixth at the Frank Wrigglesworth Blugold Tournament on Monday in Altoona, Wisc. Arie DeGrio placed 17th with a score of 75-77–152 to lead the Gusties.

Gustavus Adolphus College junior Clayton Johnson (Anoka, Minn.) won the individual title at the St. John’s Invitational this past weekend played at Greystone Golf Club in Sauk Centre, Minn. Johnson was named MIAC Golfer of the Week for his performance.

The Gustavus men’s golf team opened the 2004 season by winning the St. John’s University Invitational on Monday, September 20. The Gusties compiled a team score of 305-304–609 to finish ten strokes ahead of the competition.
