Men’s Soccer Wins MIAC Playoff Championship with 2-1 Win over Macalester
The Gustavus men’s soccer team defeated Macalester 2-1 in St. Paul to claim the first ever MIAC Playoff Championship. As a result of winning the playoff championship the Gusties earn an automatic berth in the NCAA Championships which begin next week.

Women’s Hockey Opens Season with 3-1 Win over UW-River Falls
The Gustavus women’s hockey team opened its 2003-04 season with an impressive 3-1 win over the University of Wisconsin – River Falls at Don Roberts Ice Rink in St. Peter. The Gusties rallied from a 1-0 first period deficit to claim the 3-1 win.

Football Team Falls to St. Olaf 41-27 in Season Finale
The Gustavus football team ended its season on a disappointing note with a 41-27 loss at home to St. Olaf. The Gusties finished the season with a record of 4-6 overall and 4-4 in the MIAC (tie for fourth place).

Women’s Swimming Claims Exciting 125-118 Dual Meet Win over St. Olaf
The women’s swimming team picked up a hard-fought 125-118 dual meet victory over St. Olaf on Friday, November 8 at the Lund Center Natatorium in St. Peter, Minn. The Gusties claimed the win in the final event when the 400 free relay team finished first.

Gusties Fall to Oles 134-109 in Season Opening Dual Meet
The Gustavus men’s swimming team lost a very competitive dual meet to St. Olaf 134-109 at the Lund Center Natatorium in St. Peter, Minn. The Gusties did manage to win five events and set two pool records.

The Gustavus men’s soccer team advanced to the MIAC Playoff Championship with a convincing 3-0 win over Saint John’s University in St. Peter on Wednesday afternoon. Gustavus will now play the winner of the Macalester vs. St. Thomas match on Saturday.
