Men’s Cross Country Places 19th Out of 35 At Roy Griak Invitational

The Gustavus men’s cross country team placed 19th out of 35 teams at the Roy Griak Invitational hosted by the University of Minnesota on Saturday. The Gusties were led by Nick Ross who placed 74th in a time of 28:17.

The Gustavus men’s cross country team placed 19th out of 35 teams at the Roy Griak Invitational hosted by the University of Minnesota on Saturday. The Gusties were led by Nick Ross who placed 74th in a time of 28:17.

Coach Dale Bahr stated, “The team ran a solid race. Our top runner (Mark Hartman) dropped out because of an injury he sustained during the race. The others packed up very well and ran strong.”

The Gusties will not race next weekend and then will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 10 at the Minnesota State, Mankato Invitational.
