Trio of Third Period Goals Lift Men’s Hockey Over Lumberjacks

The Gustavus men's hockey team hosted Northland Friday night and used three third period goals to take a 5-2 victory. With the win the Gusties improve to 7-6-1 overall, while the Lumberjacks fall to 4-12-1.

Men’s Swim & Dive First After Day One at Point Invite, Women Second

After the first day of competition at the 2020 Point Invite, the Gustavus men’s swimming & diving team is in first place while the Gustie women are in second. The Gustie men have accumulated 555 points with host UW-Stevens Point close behind at 517 points, while Gustie women sit at 387 points, behind MSU-Mankato at 621.

Women’s Basketball Looks to Snap Skid Hosting Augsburg Saturday

The No. 21 Gustavus women's basketball team will look to bounce back after two straight losses when they host No. 15 Augsburg on Saturday for a 3 p.m. contest. The Gusties enter the contest 11-3 overall and 7-2 in the MIAC while the Auggies are 12-2 overall and 8-1 in league play.

Men’s Basketball Back at Home to Host Augsburg Saturday

The Gustavus men's basketball team returns to Gus Young Court Saturday after three straight road games to host Augsburg for a 1 p.m. tipoff. The Gusties are 6-9 overall and 6-4 in the MIAC while the Auggies are 10-3 overall and 6-2 in conference.

Gymnastics Wins Dual with UW-Eau Claire

The Gustavus gymnastics team hosted UW-Eau Claire on Friday afternoon in a WIAC dual and won by a score of 177.975-176.525. The Gusties won the vault, bars, and floor exercise.

Men’s Hockey Hosts Pair of Non-Conference Teams this Weekend

The Gustavus men’s hockey team is back in action Friday after a weekend conference series against St. Olaf. The Gusties are home for both Friday and Saturday night matchups as they host Northland and UW-Superior at Don Roberts Ice Rink at 7:05 p.m.

Track and Field at Macalester Cancelled

The Gustavus men's and women's track and field meet today at Macalester has been cancelled due to weather. The Gusties will pick up a meet this Sunday at MSU-Mankato beginning at 2 p.m.

Big Second Period Leads Women’s Hockey to Win Over St. Olaf

The No. 7 Gustavus women's hockey team got back on the winning track with an 8-0 win over St. Olaf Thursday night. With the victory the Gusties improve to 10-2-1 overall and 6-0-1 in the MIAC while the Oles fall to 0-12-2 and 0-7-2 in the league.

Time Change: Gymnastics Hosts UW-Eau Claire at 1 p.m. Friday

The Gustavus gymnastics team is set to host UW-Eau Claire at 1:00 p.m. Friday in a WIAC dual meet. The Gusties are coming off a win in their first meet of the season last Thursday over Winona State with a 178.625, while the Blugolds scored a 177.600 at Alaska-Anchorage Friday. 

Women’s Hockey Gets Back To MIAC Play, Hosts St. Olaf Thursday

The No. 4 Gustavus women’s hockey team returns to action Thursday night as it welcomes St. Olaf before heading to Northfield Saturday. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m. at Don Roberts Ice Rink. Saturday’s contest will start at 2 p.m. at The St. Olaf Ice Arena. The Gusties enter the contest 9-2-1 overall and 5-0-1 in conference while the Oles are 0-11-2 overall and 0-6-2 in the MIAC.
