Taylor Rooney (So., Andover, Minn.) was named Track Athlete of the Week and Michael Hensch (Sr., North Branch, Minn.) was selected as the Field Athlete of the Week.

For the fourth time, the Gustavus vs. St. Thomas baseball game has been rescheduled due to weather. The game was scheduled to resume on Monday, but rainstorms have pushed the game back to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Gustie Baseball Field.

The No. 31 Gustavus women’s tennis team traveled to No. 35 Carleton Saturday and fell to the Knights by a score of 5-4. With the loss the Gusties fall to 17-11 overall and 8-1 in the MIAC.

Women’s Golf Finishes Fourth at Royal Match

The Gustavus women’s golf team completed play at the Royal Match hosted by Bethel on Saturday with a fourth place finish. The Gusties finished with a score of 652 while the winners, St. Catherine and Bethel, both finished with a score of 632.

Men’s Golf Finishes Tied for Sixth in Decatur

The Gustavus men’s golf team competed in the final day of the Take Back the Night Challenge and finished seventh of 19 team with a final score of 624. Illinois Wesleyan won the event with a 589.

The Gustavus baseball team won a pair of two-run games at Carleton, sweeping the doubleheader 3-1 and 7-5. The Gusties, now winners of their last four games, are 16-9 overall and 7-4 in the MIAC.

The Gustavus softball team traveled to Bethel on Saturday afternoon and fell in game one 3-0 before responding in game two for a 3-1 win. With the results the Gusties move to 15-19 overall and 6-14 in the MIAC.

Women’s Track & Field Wins the Carleton Relays

The Gustavus women’s track & field team Saturday won the Carleton Relays with 213.5 points, nearly 90 more than second place Carleton. Seven Gusties reached the top of the podium in seven events.
