Johnson Named MIAC Men’s Tennis Athlete of the Week

Chase Johnson (Sr., Golden Valley, Minn.) went a perfect 6-0 in singles and doubles combined to help the Gustavus men's tennis team claim its 31st consecutive MIAC men's tennis championship. For his performance, Johnson was named MIAC Athlete of the Week. 

Hensch Earns Second Consecutive MIAC Field Athlete of the Week Honor

Michael Hensch (Sr., North Branch, Minn.) won two events at the Drake Alternative and took second in another to lead the Gustavus throwers. For his performance, Hensch was named MIAC Field Athlete of the Week for the second-straight week. 

Softball’s Final Two Non-Conference Doubleheaders Cancelled

Mother nature put an end to the 2019 Gustavus softball team's season on Monday.

Women’s Golf Concludes Season With Fifth Place Finish at Carleton Invite

The No. 20 Gustavus women's golf team competed at the Carleton Invitational to conclude its 2019 campaign and claimed a fifth place finish. The Gusties shot a 355 as a team while the winners, Carleton, shot 308.

Men’s Golf Takes Second Place at SJU Invite

The Gustavus men's golf team finished play at the SJU Invite and took second with a three round total of 887. The winner of the event, Saint John's, shot an 884.

Softball Sweeps Augsburg on Senior Day

The Gustavus softball team hosted Augsburg for their final MIAC series and came out with a pair of victories, winning 6-1 and 7-1. With the results the Gusties move to 17-19 overall and 8-14 in the MIAC.

Men’s Tennis Completes Another Perfect Season in the MIAC

The No. 16 Gustavus men’s tennis team completed a perfect 9-0 season in the MIAC on Sunday, shutting out St. Thomas 9-0 at the Baseline Tennis Center to claim the conference championship outright. The Gusties, now 17-7 overall, enter the MIAC playoffs as the No. 1 seed and will host the winner of Macalester and Bethel at 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Baseball Posts Fourth-Straight Sweep, Beats Augsburg 4-0, 9-3

The Gustavus baseball team's winning streak continued Sunday at home with 4-0 and 9-3 wins over Augsburg. The Gusties, now 21-9 overall and 12-4 in the MIAC with four consecutive sweeps, have won their last nine league games, which hasn't been done by a Gustavus team since 2008.

Women’s Tennis Takes Two MIAC Victories

The No. 32 Gustavus women's tennis team played two matches on Saturday, winning both. The Gusties defeated St. Olaf 9-0 before taking down Bethel 6-3 to improve to 19-11 overall and 9-1 in the MIAC.

Men’s Tennis Captures 31st Consecutive MIAC Title, Tops Carleton 7-2

In a matchup of previously unbeaten MIAC teams, the No. 16 Gustavus men’s tennis team beat No. 38 Carleton 7-2 Saturday at the Rochester Athletic Club. Gustavus has now clinched at least a share of its 31st consecutive MIAC championship and 53rd overall and can win the title outright with a victory tomorrow at St. Thomas.
