SAINT PETER, Minn. – The Gustavus men’s golf team will compete in the Saint John’s Invite this weekend which will be played in Sauk Centre and Sartell, Minn. The Gusties have finished in the top half of all competition this season with their top finish being second place in the Pioneer Creek Collegiate.
The top golfer for the Gusties this season has been Ben Hauge (Jr., Ramsey, Minn.) who has posted two top five finishes on the season with a low score of 70. Jacob Pederson (Fy., Minnetonka, Minn.) also has a low score of 70 and has finished in the top 10 twice with his score in the Pioneer Creek Collegiate being the top score by a Division III player. Max Savini (Sr., Ramsey, Minn.) is the other Gustie who has cracked the top ten, when he did so last week at the Twin Cities Classic.
Play will begin tomorrow with the first tee time at 11 a.m.
