The Gustavus men’s golf team is in third place after the first round of the Pioneer Creek Collegiate. The Gusties shot a nine-over 297 and are 10 strokes behind the leader St. Thomas. Saint John’s is in second at 293.

Men’s Golf Opens Season with Dual Loss to St. Thomas

The Gustavus men’s golf team opened its 2019 fall campaign Friday with a dual loss to St. Thomas at Le Sueur Country Club. The Gusties carded a 10-over 290 while the Tommies posted a six-under 274.

The Gustavus men’s and women’s golf teams begin their fall seasons this weekend. The Gustie men host a dual against St. Thomas on Friday at Le Sueur Country Club while the women travel to Sartell, Minn. on Saturday and Sunday for the Saint Benedict Invitational.

Men’s Golf Adds Multiple Postseason Honors

The Gustavus men's golf team recently completed their 2018-19 campaign and Wednesday received a handful of accolades as the Division III PING All-Region Team, the Division III All-Freshmen Team, and the Division III Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars were announced. 

Hauge Named MIAC Men’s Golfer of the Week

Ben Hauge (Jr., Ramsey, Minn.) was instrumental in the Gustavus men's golf team's day two comeback at the Bobby Krig Invite last weekend. After shooting a 78 in the opening round, Hauge posted a 69 on day two to help propel the Gusties to their first tournament victory of the season. For his performance, Hauge has been named MIAC Men's Golfer of the Week. 

Men’s Golf Set to Begin Spring Season Friday

The Gustavus men's golf team will begin its spring season Friday when they travel to Camp Lejune, N.C. In their last event of the Fall, the Gusties tied for second in the MIAC Championships with a three round score of 886 (+22).

Men’s Golf Finishes MIAC Championship Tied for Second, Pedersen Wins Medalist Honors

The Gustavus men's golf team finished the MIAC Championship a day early in Jordan, Minn. and took home second place honors. All golfers took on two full rounds Sunday as the weather in Monday's forecast looked like it may be unfavorable. The Gusties came out and shot the best total score on both the day's rounds but were unable to overcome the 16 stroke deficit. St Thomas came out victorious on the event winning the MIAC Championship for second consecutive season.
