The Gustavus softball team was held scoreless in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader Saturday afternoon at Gustie Softball Field, losing by scores of 5-0 and 3-0 against the University of St. Thomas on Strikeout Cancer day.

Baseball Swept At Macalester, Falling 6-2 and 4-3

The Gustavus baseball team lost two tight games in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader at Macalester College on Friday, losing by scores of 6-2 and 4-3 to move its record to 17-11 overall and 5-5 in the MIAC.

The Gustavus men’s and women’s track & field teams are set to take part in the 70th Annual Carleton Relays at 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Teams competing include Bethany Lutheran (M/W), Bethel (M/W), Carleton (M/W), Crown (M/W), Gustavus (M/W), Hamline (M), Macalester (M/W), Martin Luther (M/W), St. Olaf (M), St. Thomas (M), and the University of Minnesota Running Club.

Men’s Golf To Host Bobby Krig Invite

The Gustavus men's golf team is set to host the 2017 Bobby Krig Invite Sunday through Monday, with Sunday’s first round to be played at The Ridges at Sand Creek in Jordan, Minn. and Monday’s final round at Le Sueur Country Club in Le Sueur, Minn.

Women’s Tennis Returns To MIAC Play This Weekend With Three Matches

After having last weekend off for the holiday, the Gustavus women’s tennis team returns to Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play Saturday at Carleton. The meeting is a rematch of last year’s MIAC playoff championship, which the Gusties won 5-0. Both teams enter the match undefeated in league play – the Gusties are 5-0 (13-6 overall) and the Knights are 7-0 (11-4 overall). Saturday’s match begins at 11 a.m.

Men’s Tennis Returns To MIAC Action At Carleton

The No. 16-ranked Gustavus men’s tennis team is set to head back into Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play at Carleton College Saturday afternoon. Both teams enter with undefeated MIAC records, the Gusties going 7-0 and the Knights going 5-0.

Softball Records Third Straight Sweep, Takes Down Macalester Behind Heacox No-Hitter

The Gustavus softball team Thursday continued its winning ways, taking down Macalester 13-0 in game one and 4-1 in the nightcap for its third consecutive sweep in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Hannah Heacox (Sr., Stillwater, Minn.) highlighted the day by tossing her second no-hitter of the season in game one. The sweep improves the Gusties to 21-11 overall and 8-6 in the MIAC, while the Scots drop to 18-16 overall and 6-10 in the league.

Six League Games In Five Days Ahead For Baseball

After Wednesday’s postponement, the Gustavus baseball team is set to play six Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference games in the next five days. The Gusties travel to Macalester Friday (2:30 p.m.), host St. Olaf Saturday (1 p.m.), and host Concordia Tuesday (2:30 p.m.) for three league doubleheaders.
