Men’s Golf Takes Third At Bobby Krig Invite

In the second round Monday, the No. 20 Gustavus men’s golf team posted the lowest round of the day at the Bobby Krig Invitational to move into second place and within striking range of the title, but couldn’t replicate the result in the third and final round, finishing third with a score of 887 (+39). No. 15 nationally ranked Illinois Wesleyan won the event with an 875, while No. 11 Saint John’s took second at 883.

Men’s Golf Tied For Fourth Place At Bobby Krig Invite After First Round

After round one of three at the Bobby Krig Invitational, the Gustavus men’s golf team sits in fourth place out of 16 teams, shooting a 298 (+10), which was played at Ridges at Sand Creek. Saint John’s and Illinois Wesleyan lead the field, both shooting a first round score of 291 (+3). Augsburg is in third place with a 294, while Saint John’s B and Gustavus are tied for fourth.

Women’s Golf Claims Runner-Up Finish At Bethel’s Royal Match

The Gustavus women's golf team turned in a team score of 310 to take a second place finish Sunday at Deer Run Golf Club during the final round of the Bethel Royal Match.

Softball Swept At St. Olaf In Two Pitcher’s Duels

The Gustavus softball team was shutout by scores of 2-0 and 1-0 in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader Sunday afternoon at St. Olaf College.

Women’s Tennis Back On Track, Shuts Out St. Kate’s, Saint Ben’s

The Gustavus women’s tennis got back to its winning ways Sunday at home, shutting out St. Catherine and Saint Benedict 9-0. The wins move the Gusties to 15-7 overall and 7-1 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, while the Wildcats drop to 11-5 (6-3 MIAC) and the Blazers move to 9-13 (2-7 MIAC).

The Gustavus women's golf team shot a team score of 313 to finish in second place in round one of Bethel's Royal Match Saturday afternoon at Deer Run Golf Club.

Men’s And Women’s Track & Field Both Take Second At Carleton Relays

The Gustavus men’s and women’s track & field teams enjoyed a number of quality performances at the 70th Annual Carleton Relays Saturday. The men’s team took second place out of 10 teams with 135 points, while the women also took second out of eight teams with 185 points. St. Thomas won the men’s team competition with 161.5 points, while Macalester won the women’s side with 200 points.

Women’s Tennis Drops First MIAC Match 5-4 At Carleton

The No. 36 Gustavus women’s tennis team’s eight-match win streak within the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, dating back to last year, was snapped Saturday as No. 39 Carleton claimed a slim 5-4 victory in a battle of unbeaten teams in the league. The rematch of the 2016 MIAC playoff championship went down to the wire, but it was the Knights coming out on top this time with three tiebreaker victories in singles play to seal the victory.

Two Comebacks Propel Baseball To Sweep Over St. Olaf

The Gustavus baseball team used two comeback efforts Saturday during Alumni Day to sweep St. Olaf 6-5 and 13-12. The sweep moves the Gusties to 19-11 overall and 7-5 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, while the Oles drop to 9-18 overall and 2-10 in the league.

No. 16 Men’s Tennis Remains Unbeaten In MIAC With 9-0 Win At Carleton

The No. 16-ranked Gustavus men's tennis team returned to Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action Saturday afternoon, sweeping the previously undefeated in league play Carleton College.
