BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Brendan Boche (Jr., Lakeville, Minn.) had a perfect day kicking the football for Gustavus (1-0) in the team’s 35-6 season-opening win over Westminster (Mo.). The Gustie junior was a perfect 5-for-5 on extra point attempts, and his kickoffs – six for 365 yards (60.8 average) with one touchback – played a big part in the field-position battle. For his performance, Boche was named MIAC Football Special Teams Athlete-of-the-Week.
