Brendan Boche had a perfect day kicking the football for Gustavus (1-0) in the team's 35-6 season-opening win over Westminster (Mo.). Head Coach Peter Haugen highlights the awards as he was named Co-Coach-of-the-Year, while five Gusties were named First Team All-Conference, three were named Second Team and four earned Honorable Mention.

Football Finishes Season 7-3 After 66-9 Loss To No. 4 St. Thomas

The Gustavus football team finished its 2015 season Saturday at Hollingsworth Field with a 66-9 loss to No. 4-ranked St. Thomas. Despite the season-ending defeat, the Gusties finish with a 7-3 overall record and 5-3 in the MIAC, which marks the most victories by Gustavus since 2001. Gustavus's third place finish in the conference is also the best since 2002.
