St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus women’s hockey team remained eighth in the latest USCHO.com Division III Women’s Hockey Poll, which was released Monday. It is the second consecutive poll that the Gusties have ranked No. 8.
The top 10 remained largely unchanged from the previous poll, which was released on Monday, Dec. 16th. The lone change in the rankings came from Elmira, who jumped Norwich to move into third. Gustavus is the lone member of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) to rank in the top 10.
The Gusties will be back in action this weekend when they travel to Stevens Point, Wis., to take on the fifth-ranked Pointers in a weekend series at Ice Hawks Arena. The two teams will battle on Friday night at 7:00 p.m., before concluding the series on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 p.m.
