Men’s Basketball Looks To Get Back On Track Against Macalester Monday Night Posted on January 6th, 2014 by

St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus men’s basketball team will look to get back on track following consecutive losses when it travels to St. Paul, Minn., on Monday, Jan. 6th for a meeting with Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) foe Macalester College.  The Gusties suffered a 73-58 loss to UW-La Crosse on Tuesday, Dec. 31st before falling to St. Olaf 80-58 on Saturday, Jan. 4th.  They will look to get back in the win column on Monday against a Macalester team that is winless in its last five contests, most recently falling to Hamline University by the final score of 72-63 on Saturday at Hutton Arena.  Gustavus enters the contest with a record of 7-3 (3-1 MIAC), while Macalester comes in with a record of 2-8 (1-4 MIAC) Monday’s opening tip is set for 7:30 p.m.
