St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus women’s golf team returned to campus on Thursday, Aug. 22nd and has been hard at work on the links ever since.  Head coach Scott Moe welcomed seven returners and two new faces to St. Peter for the 2013 season.  However, the Gustie roster does not feature any seniors.  Instead, the team includes four juniors and three sophomores to go along with two first-years.

“It’s nice to be back,” mentioned coach Moe.  “It has been a long summer waiting for the fall season and we are excited to get back to some competition at Eau Claire this upcoming weekend.”

The Gustie women will kick off their 2013 season when they travel to Eau Claire, Wis. on Saturday, Aug. 31st to participate in the UW-Eau Claire Invitational.
