St. Peter, Minn. – Due to inclement weather and the unfavorable conditions of the Gustavus Outdoor Track and Field Complex, Saturday’s Lee Krough Invitational has been cancelled.
“Mother Nature has made it very clear to me that Saturday, April 13th will not be a good day to host an outdoor track meet at Gustavus,” said Head Coach Dale Bahr. “I was holding on to hope that the snow they had predicted would steer clear of St. Peter, but the six inches we received last night on top of the inch of ice/snow the night before has crushed all hopes.”
The Gustavus men’s and women’s track and field teams will be in action next on Saturday, April 20 when they travel to Northfield, Minn. to take part in the Carleton Relays.
