St. Peter, Minn. – Gustavus Adolphus Head Golf Coach Scott Moe has announced the dates of the 10th Annual Gustavus Golf Camp set to take place in June and August. Week one of the Gustavus Golf Camp will take place June 16-20 and week two will run August 4-8.
Gustavus Golf Camp provides a safe and positive learning environment for boys and girls (ages 9-18) to improve their golf skills. The Gustavus golf staff is committed to making this week a beneficial and enjoyable experience for all involved.
Cost is $495 for overnight campers and $395 for day campers. The overnight fee includes room, all meals, golf course fees, gift, and mini-golf or bowling. The day camper fee includes all except room & breakfast.
Coach Moe along with assistant Gustavus golf coach Jordan Hawkinson, local golf professionals, and current members of the Gustie men’s and womens’ golf teams instruct and serve as camp counselors throughout the week.
Participants will receive a comprehensive golf experience, focusing on individual skill development. Our instructors will teach the campers numerous aspects of the game, including, but not limited to proper set up (grip, stance, and posture), short game, correct swing, putting, mental preparation, golf course etiquette, and rules of golf. Campers will receive video instruction throughout the week and a post-camp evaluation.
