St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus women’s golf team will enter the 2013 spring season ranked No. 14 according to the first Golf World/WGCA Division III College Women’s Coaches’ Poll of the spring. The poll combines the resources of Golf World magazine and the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA).
Following their third place finish at the 2012 MIAC Championships, the Gusties finished the fall season ranked No. 13 in the final Golf World/WGCA Division III College Women’s Coaches’ Poll of 2012. Also representing the MIAC in the top 25 is St. Thomas at No. 10 and Carleton at No. 20.
The Gustavus women’s golf team will begin the spring season at the George Fox Invitiational held March 15-16 in Peoria, Ariz.
