Men’s Golf Heads Into Spring Season Ranked No. 7

St. Peter, Minn. - The Gustavus Adolphus men’s golf team is ranked No. 7 in the first Golf World/Nike Golf Division III College Coaches’ Poll of the spring season released on Thursday, Feb. 28.  The poll is the result of a collaboration of resources between Golf World magazine, Nike Golf, and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).

The Gusties moved up two spots from their No. 7 ranking in the final Golf World/Nike Golf Division III poll of the fall season released on Nov. 21.  Saint John’s and and St. Thomas also represent the MIAC in the most recent top 25 rankings.  The Johnnies are ranked No. 3, while S. Thomas comes in at No. 8.

The 2012 MIAC Champion Golden Gusties will open their spring season with a dual against Flagler College on April 5 in Augustine, Fla.
