Men’s Hockey To Host St. Olaf In Opening Round MIAC Playoff Tilt Posted on February 21st, 2013 by

St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus men’s hockey team will head into the MIAC Playoffs as the No. 4 seed after finishing the regular season 15-7-3 overall and 9-5-2 in the MIAC.  The Gusties will face No. 5 seed St. Olaf College who comes in at 10-13-2 overall and 9-7-0 in the MIAC.  The two teams will drop the puck in the opening round on Friday, Feb. 22 at 7:05 p.m. inside Don Roberts Ice Rink.  The winner of Friday night’s opening round game will take on No. 1 seed St. Thomas on Saturday, Feb. 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the St. Thomas Ice Arena located in Mendota Heights.  In the other semifinal game set for 7:00 p.m., No. 2 seed Saint John’s will battle No. 3 seed Concordia at the National Hockey Center in St. Cloud.

Gustavus Game Notes
