St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus women’s hockey team will wrap up its regular season this weekend when they take on Saint Benedict in a two-game weekend series. The two teams will play at the Municipal Athletic Complex on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. before returning to St. Peter for a 2:00 p.m. start at Don Roberts Ice Rink on Saturday afternoon. The Gusties enter this weekend with an overall record of 22-0-1 and an MIAC mark of 16-0-0, while the Blazers bring a record of 5-11-4 and an MIAC tally of 3-11-2.
Saturday will also represent Senior Day at Don Roberts Ice Rink. The Gustavus athletic department will honor seniors Jenna Christensen, Lindsey Hjelm, Kayla Ingbretson, Kelsey Kennedy, and Meagan Wanecke for their dedication to the Gustavus women’s hockey program for the past four years.
