The Gustavus Adolphus men’s indoor track and field is set to open the 2013 season with a meet at the St. Olaf Tostrud Center Fieldhouse this Friday. The men will compete against UW-River Falls and conference opponent St. Olaf. One the track, mid-distance runner Eric Jorgenson (Jr., Maple Grove, Minn.) and sprinter Blair Riegel (Jr., Lakeville, Minn.) will likely pace the Gusies. Jorgenson was an all-conference performer in the 600-meter dash with a second place finish (1:21.19). He also placed fourth in the 800-meter run, finishing in 1:55.21.
