St. Paul, Minn. – Gustavus Adolphus senior men’s golfer Alex Kolquist (Hermantown, Minn.) has been featured in the latest edition of Rich Mies’s MIAC Profiles of Excellence series. Kolquist shattered the MIAC scoring record on his way to earning the title of champion at this fall’s MIAC Championships. The senior shot an unprecedented 207 (-9), and finished 14 strokes in front of the rest of the field. With his effort, Kolquist led the way for the Gusties to capture their first MIAC title since 2007.
