Women’s Basketball Falls Late At Concordia 64-56

In a tightly contested contest, Concordia maintained a slight advantage throughout and held on for a 64-56 victory over Gustavus in a MIAC women’s basketball tilt Wednesday night in Moorhead, Minn. The Gusties and Cobbers spilt the regular season series after Gustavus won 87-72 on Jan. 16. With the loss, the Gusties fall to 18-6 overall and 16-5 in the MIAC.

Women’s Basketball Journeys To Concordia Wednesday

The Gustavus women's basketball team will make the long trip to Moorhead, Minn. on Wednesday for a women's/men's doubleheader. The Gustie women take on the Cobbers at 5:45 p.m. and the two men's squads tip-off at 7:45 p.m. Gustavus enters the match-up with an 18-5 overall record and 16-4 mark in the MIAC, which has secured the No. 2 spot in the conference playoffs.
