The Gustavus women’s basketball team will make the long trip to Moorhead, Minn. on Wednesday for a women’s/men’s doubleheader. The Gustie women take on the Cobbers at 5:45 p.m. and the two men’s squads tip-off at 7:45 p.m. Gustavus enters the match-up with an 18-5 overall record and 16-4 mark in the MIAC, which has secured the No. 2 spot in the conference playoffs. Concordia is currently No. 3 in the MIAC at 13-7 and 15-8 overall.
Gustavus defeated Concordia 87-72 back on Jan. 14 in St. Peter. Molly Geske led the victors with a season-high 25 points on 10-of-13 shooting from the floor, while Alley Fisher had a monster game in a losing effort for the Cobbers. The first-year guard shot 5-for-5 from the field, hit both three-point attempts and went 9-for-9 from the line for a team-high 21 points.
