The Gustavus women’s basketball team will host Concordia College in a MIAC Playoff Semifinal game Thursday. Tip-off at Gus Young Court in St. Peter, Minn. is set for 7:30 p.m. The Gusties, who garnered the No. 2 seed with a 17-5 mark in the conference, received a first round bye as the No. 3 Cobbers (15-7 MIAC) held on for a 55-50 MIAC Quarterfinal win over No. 6 Bethel on Tuesday night in Moorhead, Minn. The last time these two squads faced off in MIAC Playoff action was during the 2006-07 campaign where the second-seeded Gusties defeated the third-seeded Cobbers 63-52 in the semifinals.
