The Gustavus men’s basketball team is hosting its annual Hoops Open Golf Tournament on Monday, July 25th, 2011 at the Le Sueur Country Club in Le Sueur, Minn. The tournament is a three-person scramble and will begin with a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. Following the Hoops Open will a buffet dinner, raffle, and silent auction. This year’s entry fee is $100 per golfer with a portion of that fee being credited as a gift to the Gustavus men’s basketball program.
Funds raised through the tournament will be used to subsidize the team’s travel to play in tournaments and provide necessary resources to help keep the Gustavus men’s basketball program one of the best in the MIAC and Division III.
