Sophomore Alex Kolquist posted a score of even par 72 in the final round of the NCAA Golf Championships and completed the tournament in 15th place with a 72-hole total of 72-73-77-72–294 (+6).  Greensboro College won the team title with a score of 1167, while Chris Morris of Centre College (Ky.) won the individual title with a total of 67-65-71-71–274 (-14). The tournament was played a Grandover Resort and Golf Club in Greensboro, North Carolina.

The Golf Coaches Association of America announced its 2011 All-America team on Friday and Kolquist was named to the Second Team.  It is the first time that the Hermantown, Minn. native has been named to the GCAA All-America team.
