The Gustavus baseball team improved to 1-2 overall with a 9-3 win over Middlebury College on Sunday afternoon. The Gusties pounded out 13 hits in the game. Senior second baseman Cody Sukalski (Blue Earth, Minn.) went 2-for-2 at the plate and drove in two runs.

Two Gustavus gymnasts sophomore Dani Thibodeau and first year Jamie Ries will take part in the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) National Championships this weekend in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Thibodeau qualified individually on the balance beam and floor exercise, while Ries qualified on the uneven bars.
