Two third period goals allowed the Gustavus men’s hockey team to post a convincing 4-1 at Don Roberts Ice Rink on the Gustavus campus on Saturday evening.
The Gusties, who out-shot the Blue Devils 44-30 got goals from Eric Bigham (14:53, 1st period), David Martinson (19:13, 2nd period), Mitch Carlson (10:45, 3rd period), and Dane Erickson (19:44, 3rd period). Josh Swartout picked up the win in the nets making 29 saves.
Gustavus will return to action on Friday, January 15 at home against Augsburg College.
