Mark Adams
Gustavus Adolphus College sophomore forward Mark Adams (Waukee, IA) has been named MIAC Men’s Soccer Athlete of the Week. Adams had scored a hat trick in the 4-3 victory over Bethel last Friday. One of his three goals included the game winner in the 84th minute on a shot that glanced off the right post and into the net. Adams has been key to the Gusties’ success in the last part of the season as he has gone on a scoring tear as of late. He has tallied a total of 16 points on six goals and four assists as the Gusties have gone 4-1 in their past five matches. The win over Hamline on Tuesday gave Gustavus three points and moved them into a three way tie for fourth place in the MIAC.
The Gusties play their last regular season game on Saturday, Ocotober 31, at 1 p.m. against Augsburg College in St. Peter, MN.
