Neither team was able to score the game winning goal after 110:00 minutes of play. The Gusties go to 6-5-3 overall and 2-4-1 in the MIAC, while Luther travels home with an overall record of 7-6-2.

The result was exactly the same as one year ago with the Gusties playing the Norse to a 0-0 tie in Decorah, IA. Gustavus goalkeeper Jessica Richert played a complete game and came up with four saves on the way to her second career shutout. Gustavus’s Ashley Anderson and Kristin Moen tallied the only two shots on goal in the contest while Luther’s Dani Meirick had six total shots with three of them being on goal.

The Gusties will resume MIAC play on Wednesday, October 21st, when they will play host to St. Thomas at 3:30pm.
