Men’s Tennis Closes Out Spring Break Trip With 8-1 Loss to Azusa Pacific

The Gustavus Adolphus College men's tennis team wrapped up its Spring Break schedule Thursday with an 8-1 loss at Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, Calif. Azusa Pacific (22-1) is rated No. 2 in NAIA, while Gustavus (18-8) is rated No. 5 in NCAA Division III. Jesse Brauer picked up Gustavus' lone point with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Mathias Weber at No. 2 singles.

Track and Field to Open Outdoor Season at Central (Iowa) Invitational

The Gustavus Adolphus College track and field teams will open their outdoor seasons Friday, April 6 at the Central (Iowa) Invitational at Ron and Joyce Schipper Stadium in Pella, Iowa. Field events and running events will both begin at 11 a.m. and continue on a rolling schedule throughout the day.

Softball Doubleheader With Macalester For Thursday Postponed, Moved to Sunday, April 22

The Gustavus softball doubleheader with Macalester scheduled for Thursday, April 5 has been postponed due to cold weather and moved to Sunday, April 22 at 1:00 pm at Dunning Field.

Men’s Tennis Edges No. 12 University of Redlands 5-4

The Gustavus Adolphus College men's tennis team picked up wins in four of six singles matches to record a 5-4 come-from-behind victory over University of Redlands in Redlands, Calif. Gustavus is rated fifth in NCAA Division III, while Redlands is rated 12th. Andy Bryan and Jesse Brauer team for a win at No. 1 doubles then each followed it up with a victory in singles play. Gustavus will face NAIA No. 2 Azusa Pacific Thursday to wrap up their Spring Break trip.

Men’s Tennis Shut Out by NAIA No. 4 Fresno Pacific 9-0

The Gustavus Adolphus College men's tennis team was shut out by NAIA No. 4 Fresno Pacific University 9-0 Tuesday in Claremont, California. The Gusties (17-7), rated fifth in NCAA Division III, continue their Spring Break trip Wednesday with a dual at the University of Redlands. Redlands is currently ranked 12th in Division III.

Women’s Tennis Defeats #19 Trinity 7-2, Improves to 13-4 On The Season

The Gustavus women's tennis team closed out its spring break trip with a 7-2 win over #19 Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. The Gusties completed their trip to Texas with a 3-1 mark and will now return home and start preparing for the Madison Midwest Invite which will take place in Madison, Wisconsin this Friday and Saturday.

Softball Doubleheader With St. Olaf Postponed, Moved to April 16

The Gustavus Adolphus College softball team's doubleheader with St. Olaf scheduled for Tuesday, April 3 has been postponed due to the rain and cold weather. The doubleheader has been re-scheduled for Wednesday, April 16 at 4:00 pm in St. Peter.

Baseball Doubleheader at Wartburg Postponed and Moved to May 6

Due to heavy rains that passed through the Waverly, Iowa, area late last night and early this morning, Tuesday's non-conference baseball doubleheader between Gustavus Adolphus and Wartburg has been postponed to Sunday, May 6, with a 1 p.m. start at Hertel Field in Waverly.

Baseball Splits With St. Thomas to Open MIAC Slate

The Gustavus Adolphus College baseball team outhit the University of St. Thomas 20-10 Monday afternoon but a pair of key errors in game one left the Gusties with a split in a doubleheader at UST's Koch Diamond. The Tommies took game one, 3-2, in ten innings, while the Gusties took the nightcap by a 6-3 score. Tony Konicek led the Gusties going 6-for-9 on the day. Gustavus (7-5, 1-1 MIAC) will step out of league play to face Wartburg Tuesday in Waverly, Iowa.

Women’s Tennis Defeats the University of the Incarnate Word 7-2

The Gustavus women's tennis team defeated the University of the Incarnate Word of San Antonio, Texas 7-2 on Monday in San Antonio. The Gusties won all three doubles matches and four of the six singles matches to improve to 12-4 on the season. The Gusties will close out their spring break trip to San Antonio with a match against #5 Trinity University on Tuesday afternoon.
